School Based Services

Dr. D’Costa is passionate about community-based services that empowers culturally and linguistically minoritized children and families. Her practice focuses on a) critically exploring the impact of oppressive forces on students and b) building culturally sustaining practices for youth and families. Dr. D’Costa is an integrated member of her community school (Think College Now). Dr. D'Costa supervises pre-doctoral interns through the Berkeley Psychological Internship Consortium. As a supervisor, she offers warm support with high levels of independence. Dr. D’Costa invites critical reflection of systems of oppression/liberation in her supervision and analysis of cases.
